As highlighted recently in the Life newspaper (link here) the Opera Club of Reigate and Redhill is facing an uncertain future after its next performance, as a result of declining attendances in recent years and the recession.

The Vice Chairman of the Club, Nick Rogers, appealed for support:

“ It is a fact that if we do not get a large enough audience, there is a very real possibility that like the enchanted objects in this production, the Opera Club may cease to exist - and that would be an absolute tragedy.”

“We are appealing to all local residents to come and support us at this time, and who knows, you or your children may even decide to join us in the future.”

The show will run from Tuesday, October 19, to Saturday, October 23, with six performances, including a matinee.

Tickets can be ordered via the Harlequin’s website, and cost from only £12.50 each.
