A25 resurfacing works start tomorrow

Road Sign

Following the announcement earlier in the year that the County Council would be increasing its investment in local roads, including resurfacing of the whole of the A25 from Reigate Heath to Redstone Hill, work is due to start on the first section in Redhill tomorrow (17th October).

The section concerned is Hatchlands Road and Station Road, and works are due to complete by 30th October. Local diversions will be in place during the works.

In the next few weeks Huntington Road will also be closed for road repairs.

What a nightmare - no signs, no diversions and people manning the barriers with no advice how to get across the roadworks.

    Very badly managed

    • Sorry - I have had a few similar problems but have found that the diversions eventually took me to the right place. I am more concerned with the end product in terms of the road surface and so far it looks to have been done well.
