The Next Local Policing Board Meeting will be held on the 29th of October 2013 @ Reigate Town Hall between 7pm and 8pm

PCSO-and-NSO-Surrey-PoliceBorough Commander, Inspector Richard Haycock along with officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team will be available to discuss local crime issues and listen to what you think our local policing priorities should be.

A Message from Mike Fox, Borough Representative for the Surrey Neighbourhood Watch Association

Dear Watch Coordinator

The main purpose of this communication is to recommend that you try to attend one of the Police Area Board Meetings being organised in the Borough as these will provide you with a lot of information relative to your role as a Watch Coordinator.

In addition to a presentation and Q&A session by Inspector Haycock, I will be repeating the session that I gave at the Banstead Area Board Meeting. This describes the pilot project we are undertaking in part of the Borough for the Surrey PCC using an IT solution to assist the work of Watch Coordinators in gathering email addresses and distributing urgent crime related information to their members.

There are two other initiatives which will be described during the meeting these are use of the Immobilise national database for recording details of items at risk of theft and the Get Safe Online initiative in which The National Neighbourhood Watch and Home Watch is involved.

I will bring with me a supply of Neighbourhood Watch Road Signs, which are available for £5 each, and other Watch related items.

If you are not able to attend the meeting, but are interested in the topics I will be presenting you can contact me at
