We, as ward councillors, have received a pre-application notice that Vodafone and O2 propose to replace the current mast, which is a “flagpole” above the Raffles store at Linkfield Corner, with a different type of mast, which will probably be less visible.
Changes such as this do not require formal planning approval, but the Council still has the ability to scrutinise the proposal and potentially get it changed.
