Partial closure of Linkfield Street from 3rd April

Road SignA temporary road closure, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic from entering or proceeding along that length of (D1265) Linkfield Street, Redhill, between the eastern boundary of property number 1 Linkfield Street and the western boundary of property number 7 Linkfield Street, Redhill, a distance of 20 metres.

This Temporary Traffic Order is required to enable Commhoist Logistics to carry out a mobile crane lift. These works are anticipated to commence on the 3rd April 2016 over one day between the hours of 08.00hrs and 16.30hrs within the one-month period of operation of this Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 3rd April 2016. It is anticipated that this road will remain closed at all times during this work. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access will be maintained for pedestrians at all times. It will not be possible to maintain access for emergency vehicles during this work. Access for residents will be maintained wherever reasonably possible. Where it is not possible to maintain access for residents, under Section 3 of The Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any period of 24 hours.

This length of (D1265) Linkfield Street is a cul-de-sac and subsequently no diversion is available.
