The local Redhill Artisans need your help …

Reigate & Banstead Borough Council and Redhill Bowling Club have joined forces to develop an Artisans Group in Redhill. The initiative, called Redhill Artisans, is based on a similar scheme which has been running in Reigate since July 2013. We want to provide an opportunity for retired residents to make new friends, stay active and have fun. We are currently seeking volunteers to take part in the scheme starting in February. They will work alongside club volunteers on Friday mornings throughout the year on a variety of jobs on and around the bowling green and clubhouse.

It is a fantastic opportunity to keep active, meet new people, spend time outdoors and find out about a new sport. No previous experience is required. In return you will gain free social membership of Redhill Bowling Club.

Those interested are invited to an Open Morning at Redhill Bowling Club at St. Anne’s Drive, Redhill on Friday 6th February from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The club is one of Redhill’s hidden gems and is accessed by following the signs through the Wiggie Lane Allotments gate off St.Anne’s Drive.
